POSITION STATEMENT: This position requires a high degree of professionalism, organization and customer service. The ideal candidate will be creative and outgoing as this role requires daily interaction with all levels of professionals throughout our organization as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Write and post job descriptions on career websites, newpapers and University job boards.
  • Ulitize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals, to identify potential candidates.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and preferences.
  • Evaluate and screen resumes and cover letters.
  • Conduct phone and/or in-person interviews.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of candidate information in the applicant tracking system.
  • Create customized recruitment reports and maintain reports and statistics.
  • Set-up and attend job fairs and hiring events.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies in recruiting.
  • Adheres to the policies and procedures as outlines in the employee handbook.
EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field (PREFERRED), or equivalent years of experience with recruiting (3-5 years minimum).
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills (both oral and written) and thorough attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems, such as ADP (PREFERRED).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to frequently changing priorities and complete projects according to timelines.
  • Excellent telephone and customer service skills.
  • Ability to gather data, track metrics and prepare customized reports.
  • Familiarity in the field of human services, psychology, specialist education, and behavioral health.
  • Knowledge of HR policies and best practices (PREFERRED).
  • Bilingual a plus, not required
