Buffet Attendant

The Buffet Attendant provides superior food service by removing all used plates, trash, glasses, and other obstructions in a timely and quiet manner.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Handles all cuisine according to health and sanitation standards and work as a team to ensure support staff follows suit.
- Refills cooked hot and cold food items in the buffet, keeping all hot and cold lines clean and appropriate serving utensils stocked.
- Provides support to the culinary team by notifying them in a timely manner when certain food items are needed.
- Ensures the highest possible standards of guest service are provided and listens and responds to guest and associate concerns and questions.
- Cleans all serving service stations; sweep and mop kitchen expo area as needed and remove, and empty trash as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to listen and follow directions.
- Ability to follow safety rules and guidelines throughout the kitchen and restaurant.
- At least one year of related experience preferred.
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Must be able to lift, balance, and carry trays of food weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to work nights and weekends.
