Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent ;college, executive secretarial or business courses strongly preferred.
  • Thorough working knowledge of health insurance issues and coverage, .
  • Knowledge of medical terminology .
  • Typing and general secretarial skills .
  • Computer experience . (Windows,Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PtCt, Meditech).
  • One year experience in a busy, complex medical office or equivalent .
  • Home health experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to demonstrate 100% accurate transcription of medical terminology
  • Active and valid driver’s license.
