Fishtales in Zebulon is looking for a Back of the House leader. Someone who can manage our busy kitchen. If you have a kitchen background and can lead a solid group of fellow hard working kitchen staff then this is the job for you.

No late nights, 5 day work week, 40-45 hours, great menu and great staff.

While Kitchen Managers are responsible for a variety of managerial tasks, common duties include:
  • Managing inventory so that all necessary ingredients are stocked and prepped for service
  • Hiring new staff and providing training to facilitate quick acclimation
  • Streamlining the kitchen processes to maintain prompt service times
  • Working with the owners and GM to develop and maintain the restaurant menu
  • Setting regular cleaning standards for the kitchen and verifying that staff is maintaining sanitation levels
  • Creating schedules for all kitchen staff to meet labor expectations
  • Tracking kitchen finances to identify areas of potential waste
  • Work with GM to order and put away all supplies
  • Be the Leader among all BOH staff to raise performance levels daily
