Requirements:
  • Maryland cosmetology and/or barbering license
  • Minimum 2 years of industry experience
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Strong proficiency in precision haircuts, barbering/clipper cuts, and color application/theory

Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and engage with clients, actively listening to their needs
  • Provide professional hairdressing services using precision and skill
  • Advise clients on home hair care and recommend suitable hairstyles
  • Perform a variety of treatments including conditioning, bleaching, tinting, and straightening
  • Upsell salon products and services to meet sales targets
  • Educate clients on salon products for improved satisfaction
  • Promote salon services and encourage client loyalty
  • Maintain health and safety standards including sanitation and sterilization
  • Utilize technology for scheduling, payment processing, and client communication
 
Additional Skills (Preferred but not necessary):
  • Lace closure sew-ins, frontal sew-ins, weaves, wig installation
  • Sleek ponytails, KnotLess braids, Locs, twists, crochet braiding
  • Waxing, manicures, pedicures, eyelash extensions, eyebrow threading
