Our company is hiring a Physical Therapist to maintain patient health and wellness. You will advise patients on the best care possible through therapeutic exercises and trained knowledge. Physical Therapists will develop treatment plans based on a combination of medical, physiological, and psychological data. As a Physical Therapist, you will ensure patients receive safe, professional, and effective care from our staff. In addition, you will work with doctors to assess outcomes, administer treatments and assist with physical activities to help patients return to their previous routines quickly. Ultimately, you should be able to handle rehabilitation for a variety of conditions in order to ensure our patients receive the best care possible.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat patients suffering from injuries, diseases, and illnesses. Establish a diagnosis by examining patients' medical history and conducting physical tests.
- Assess and recommend treatment based on medical history and physical examination results.
- Provide treatments necessary to improve patient movement, comfort, and overall health.
- Advise patients in regard to physical therapy exercises, home exercise programs, and modification of work or daily living activities.
- Identify causes of pain and refer patients to appropriate specialists when needed.
- Provide follow-up care, monitor patient progress, document physical milestones, and communicate with various healthcare providers involved in patient care.
- Provide initial consultations with new patients.
- Assist with medical insurance claims to process and coordinate with related services such as laboratory investigations.
