Role and Responsibilities:
CW Resources is seeking an experienced and motivated Landscaping Project Manager to oversee and coordinate our landscaping projects. The Project Manager will oversee a team of landscaping crewmembers that primarily consistent of adults with disabilities and disabling conditions.
- Organize, plan, and direct landscaping and maintenance operations, including scheduling work to ensure timely completion.
- Uphold the goals, standards, and objectives of the facility and company.
- Oversee the Quality Coordinator and Site Safety Health Officer to ensure they complete their daily, weekly, and monthly assignments.
- Inspect crew equipment daily, address any malfunctions, and provide training on proper equipment usage and maintenance.
- Recruit, train, and develop team members to promote high performance and job satisfaction.
- Create and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Regularly meet with customer contacts to address needs and maintain strong relationships.
- Track, service, and document all vehicles and equipment to ensure they are properly maintained.
- Communicate daily with the COR regarding any issues or changes.
- Send daily productivity reports and analysis to the Regional Manager.
- Track all materials and labor hours daily.
- Ensure thorough knowledge and adherence to contract statements of work and performance standards.
- Monitor site operations to ensure they stay within the established budget.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management to support company objectives.
Requirements:
- Minimum of (1) One-year landscaping experience
- Minimum of (1) One-year Supervisory experience
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment, typically up to [weight limit, e.g., 50 pounds].
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and kneeling during project execution and inspections.
- Capability to operate landscaping tools and machinery, including push mowers, trimmers, and loaders.
- Manual dexterity for handling small tools and performing precise tasks.
- Stamina to work long hours, including potential early mornings and extended periods of physical activity.
Environmental Demands:
- Exposure to various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and direct sunlight.
- Work in outdoor settings, which may involve uneven terrain and potentially hazardous conditions (e.g., working near moving equipment).
- Potential exposure to allergens, such as pollen, dust, and grass.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required, including gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
- Ability to adapt to changing work environments and conditions based on project needs.
