LUNetwork Architect

Our direct client has a new opening for a Network Architect  122078   This position is 9 months, with the option of extension, and is in Augusta, Maine.   Network Architect is responsible for current and future projects involving Network design for both on prem and cloud efforts. Including but notlimited to Cloud, Wireless, Internet, Data Center, WAN/LAN, load balancers and firewalls, security, Monitoring Orion, Cisco gear net new and refresh, configuration management and well as setting the gold image, fast pace rapid moving priorities.  This is NOT a lead architect but working under the supervision of a lead architect.  This position needs someone who understand Enterprise Architecture and willing to be on-site.  The environment is dynamic and a changing environment that needs a team player who will help build out the Network Core Infrastructure to the Cloud.  This is a hands on role with strong experience with F5 load balancer, Cicso equipment and Firewalls specifically CheckPoint that will be a long term engagement.  The environment has roughly 11K users with 400 sites located in Maine with 2-3 central data clusters.   

• Skill 1 Cisco Networking architecture, operation, design and troubleshooting
• Skill 2 Network project scoping and implementation
• Skill 3 flexible and adaptable team player that can take the lead

Required Skill Set/Skill Level/Experience:

• Network Senior Architect expert level in Cisco, F5 and Checkpoint
