FULL TIME CLOTHING SORTER - II (Warehouse) Payrate: $16.30 per hourSchedule: Monday to Friday (7:00 AM - 03:30 PM) The Rescue Mission is currently seeking experienced Clothing Sorter (Sorter II) for our warehouse. This position is for sorting clothing donations by sellable vs bale, in season vs off season and clothing categories of men, women and children tops and bottoms, as well as sorting bin items (ties, scarves, hats, gloves, accessories) and linens & assisting in all aspects of preparing donated merchandise for store deliveries, salvage, recycling or waste. Warehouse Sorters will perform sorting, hanging and ticketing sellable clothing donations, as well as sorting bin items (ties, scarves, hats, gloves, accessories) and linens. 

Education & Experience Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED certificate preferred.
  • Prior experience in a production warehouse or retail clothing setting required

 Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Needed to Perform Effectively in this Position:
  • Interest in working with clothing and knowledge of clothing preferred
  • Willingness to continue to learn new skills
  • Ability to work in a changing environment – flexible to new assignments
  • Passion for the mission and vision for the organization
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand for 8-hour shifts
  • Ability to lift up to 30lbs

 Additional Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Cleaning is required
