The Solder Operator will be responsible for the complete assembly of printed circuit boards performing a full range of tasks, which include mounting electronic components, inserting wires, and soldering components and leads into eyelets or terminals manually or with automatic machine-based on blueprints, wiring diagrams, and assembly

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Complete assembly of printed circuit boards, Connect wire harnesses, trim excess wire, and clean boards with solvent
  • Focus on small objects for extended periods of time, attention to detail in order to work from assembly drawings, and correctly identify and check parts for acceptable conditions before assembling to ensure conformance with requirements. Examines soldered boards for substandard soldering and makes adjustments as needed, Maintain a safe work environment
  • Able to work as part of a team, and maintain production and/or work records. Follow manufacturing methods or techniques
  • Perform repetitive tasks in assembly setting, and read manufacturing outlines for electronic products. Use precision measuring tools and/or equipment

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: 
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • IPC knowledge and certifications are preferred but will provide on-the-job training in expanding IPC knowledge and certifications.
  • Electronics background, Contract Electronic Manufacturing, and ISO standards background a +.
Work Schedule: Full time/ 1st shift; Mon -Fri; 7am-3:30pm

Salary: Starting at $13.00 but pay will DOE.
