Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: Faribault, Minnesota
Job Description:Are you a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) looking for a rewarding opportunity in the educational sector? We are seeking a dedicated LPN to join our team at a reputable school in Faribault, Minnesota. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and well-being of students, providing medical care, administering medications, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to support student health needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care to students, including administering medications, treatments, and first aid as needed.
  • Monitor students with chronic health conditions and provide appropriate medical interventions.
  • Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized health plans for students with special medical needs.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of student health encounters.
  • Educate students, staff, and parents on health-related topics and promote a healthy school environment.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate assistance as necessary.

Schedule and Timeline: 
  • ASAP Start time- June 5th.
  • Potential opportunity for Extended School Year in July or upcoming school year
  • Hours- 7:30am-3:30pm.
  • Days- Mon-Fri.

Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Minnesota.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Experience working in a school or pediatric healthcare setting preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
  • Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of students and the school environment.

Pay:
