Position Overview:
We are looking for a qualified Payroll Clerk to assist in the day-to-day payroll tasks. You will undertake a variety of responsibilities such as auditing timecards, providing timesheet reports as needed, making edits and updates into the ADP system, working with a variety of managers, assisting employees with questions and working with the HR department. An excellent payroll clerk has a great understanding of the concept of confidentiality. You will be experienced in entering data with attention to detail and will have good math skills to make the necessary calculations. The ideal candidate will be a thorough professional with good communication abilities. The goal is to carry out all payroll procedures with accuracy, attention to detail and experience with service contracts.

Essential Job Functions:

• Assist with all payroll related matters using payroll software of ADP WFN with heavy data entering.
• Collect, audit, and verify timekeeping information for all employees.
• Calculate referrals and sign-on bonuses when appropriate.
• Manage and calculate taxes and deductions and benefits.
• Update paper and electronic payroll records by entering adjustments on pay rates, employee status changes etc.
• Deal with questions regarding payroll from employees and upper management.
• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in payroll.
• Prepare and submit reports with payroll information to supervisor.
• Compare hours record from ADP to Motive to the Scheduled assigned.

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Proven experience as payroll clerk.
• Familiarity with general accounting principles.
• Experience in data collection, entry and reporting with great attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Solid knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and regulations.
• Computer savvy with working knowledge of relevant software (required knowledge/use of ADP Work Force Now).
• Exquisite math and numerical skills.
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication abilities with aptitude in problem-solving.
• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in accounting/business administration is a plus.

Pay:

• The pay is depending on experience ($21.00/hour).
