Job description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Worker to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment while assisting with food preparation and service. This position is perfect for individuals passionate about the hospitality industry and looking to gain experience in a fast-paced kitchen setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation of food items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
  • Support cooks and chefs by helping with ingredient preparation, such as chopping vegetables or measuring ingredients.
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained regularly.
  • Help with catering events by setting up food stations and serving guests as needed.
  • Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe dining experience for customers.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during peak hours.

Experience:
  • Previous experience in a restaurant, catering, hotel, or culinary environment is preferred but not required.
  • A strong interest in the hospitality industry and a willingness to learn new skills are essential.
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and basic cooking techniques is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Seasonal.

Pay: $12.00 - $13.50 per hour.

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week.
