Installation Technician (Low Voltage, Camera, and Network Rack Equipment)

The ideal candidate will have expertise in low-voltage wire runs, camera installation, and network rack equipment installation.

Job Summary:As an Installation Technician at Rivell, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our clients receive the highest quality technical support and services. You will install various low-voltage systems, security cameras, and network rack equipment while adhering to safety standards and best practices. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform low-voltage wire runs for data, voice, and video systems, ensuring proper routing and termination.
• Install security cameras, DVRs, NVRs, and related equipment in commercial settings
• Test, troubleshoot, and repair low voltage systems, cameras, and network equipment, identifying and resolving issues promptly
• Collaborate with team members and clients to plan and execute installation projects, ensuring work is completed on time and to client specifications
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards and best practices
• Provide exceptional customer service, promptly addressing client concerns and inquiries
• Continuously update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and staying informed of industry advancements
• Perform other related duties as assigned by lead technician

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical training in low voltage systems, security cameras, or network equipment installation is a plus
• Minimum 1 year of experience in low voltage wire runs, camera installation, and/or network rack equipment installation.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
• Familiarity with various low-voltage systems, camera brands, and network equipment
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; willingness to travel to client sites as needed
• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces
