Duties:
  • Patrol the premises to detect and prevent any suspicious activity
  • Monitor CCTV cameras to identify potential security threats
  • Respond to alarms and emergencies in a timely and effective manner
  • Conduct regular patrols to check for any security breaches
  • Maintain a high level of awareness and vigilance at all times
  • Provide first aid and CPR as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of all security incidents
  • Participate in loss prevention efforts to minimize theft
  • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies to resolve security issues
  • Demonstrate conflict management skills to de-escalate tense situations
  • Ensure all security equipment is functioning properly and perform regular checks
  • Perform other duties as required by management

Experience:
  • Previous experience as a security officer or in a related field is essential
  • A certificate in security or law enforcement is highly desirable
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies
  • Excellent communication and conflict management skills
  • Ability to maintain a high level of physical fitness and work in a variety of weather conditions
  • Experience with CCTV systems and surveillance technology is a significant asset
  • Knowledge of security procedures and protocols is a requirement
  • First aid and CPR certifications are a must-have
