Job Title: Licensed Clinical Therapist (LMFT/LCSW) - ContractLocation: Bittersweet Encounters
Job Type: Contract
Hours: Part-time (Minimum of 20 hours per week + additional billable hours)

Position Overview:
Bittersweet Encounters is seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Therapist (LMFT or LCSW) for a contract position. The role involves managing a small client caseload while providing essential support in the clinical supervision of registered and associate clinical therapists. This position offers flexibility with both billable client hours and clinical administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
Client Therapy:
  • Carry a minimum caseload of 15 clients per week.
  • Provide individual, couple, or family therapy sessions (in-person or telehealth).
  • Maintain up-to-date client records and ensure all documentation complies with legal and ethical standards.
  • Compensation for client work is based on billable hours.
Clinical Supervision and Support:
  • Assist in the supervision of registered and associate clinical therapists.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and oversight in therapeutic approaches and interventions.
  • Offer feedback and support to associates, ensuring compliance with clinical best practices.

Documentation Review and Feedback (20 hours per week):
  • Review clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and other client-related paperwork
  • Provide constructive feedback to improve the quality and accuracy of clinical documentation.

Qualifications:
  • Active California LMFT or LCSW license in good standing.
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience.
  • Prior experience in clinical supervision preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Compensation:
  • Paid per billable hour for client sessions.
  • Additional hourly rate for supervision and documentation review.

You have the option of working in the office, remotely, or a combination of both
Other Requirements:
  • Obtain Professional Liability Insurance.
  • Licensed Registered in California.
  • Insurance credentialing.

Benefits:

Rate of Pay:
  • $ 65 per billable hour.

Work Schedule:
  • Day and Evening Shift.
  • Monday to Friday.
  • Weekend Availability.
