Responsible for providing Resident Care leadership within our Resident Care department. Works closely with Directors of Resident Wellness and Memory care, and Executive Director to ensure services offered to meet or exceed federal, state, and local standards.

Some responsibilities include:
  • Assessments and care planning for all residents to ensure needs are met.
  • Coordinates and manages all healthcare services and resident care services.
  • Supervises resident care staff in the delivery of care services and assistance with activities of daily living.
  • Compiles resident information in accordance with AHCA standards.
  • Participates in direct service staff recruitment, selection, orientation, and in-service education.
  • Provide ongoing coaching/mentoring of assigned care staff.
  • Expected to play an active role in growing community occupancy by representing and interacting positively with potential residents, family members and professionals.
  • Ensure high performance, integrity and adherence to facility standards, goals, and objectives.
  • Must be organized, self-starter and have a passion for caring for seniors.
  • Must have 3 years’ experience in assisted living/memory care setting.

  • Understand the needs of the elderly.
  • Recognize unusual behavior or physical condition of residents.
  • Be thoroughly familiar with all company policies and procedures.
  • Be familiar with licensure rules and regulations.
  • Be able to communicate effectively in writing as well as verbally.
  • Able to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret Resident Care policies and procedures.
  • Able to interact effectively with residents, their families, other staff members, and guests.
  • Able to train staff.
