As a Transportation Specialist at Tri-State Removals, you will be the face of our organization We are dedicated and teamwork-driven. You will work closely with Funeral Homes, Medical Examiners, and First Responders to safely, respectfully, and successfully transport the deceased.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Safely and effectively transport human remains for Funeral Homes, Medical Examiners, and Body Donation Agencies.
  • Interact with grieving family members and various state agency personnel.
  • Work and Collaborate as a team to complete removals.
  • Abide by safe removal procedures/practices.
  • Completion of inventory sheets and other paperwork needed by Funeral Homes, Medical Examiners' offices, ETC.
  • Keeping company vehicles clean and in proper working order.

Job Requirements:
  • Must have a Black suit, Black dress shoes, and Black socks.
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overnight.
  • Smartphone with Internet and Picture capability.
  • An understanding of “On Call” work schedule.
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Valid Drivers License and reliable vehicle to get to work.
  • Must live in Kalamazoo, Portage MI.
  • Ability to lift and carry 100-150 lbs.
  • Great interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt to ever-changing situations/environments.
  • Submission to an MVR check.
