Quality Assurance Specialist

Position Overview:We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our Sunwarrior team. This brand-focused role will support our Quality department by ensuring that all processes meet rigorous quality standards and contribute to continuous improvement efforts across our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct employee training sessions on quality-related topics.
- Lead periodic organic and kosher audits, ensuring compliance with certification requirements.
- Perform internal audits of the quality system, identifying areas for improvement.
- Develop new SOPs or forms as needed to address operational needs.
- Maintain proper document control, ensuring up-to-date revisions and appropriate filing.
- Perform facility and grounds inspections, ensuring all processing areas meet quality standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality and operational efficiency.
- Assist the Quality Assurance Manager during NSF and customer audits, as well as during government inspections.
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Prior experience in quality assurance is preferred but not required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in computer applications relevant to the role.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability to a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds as needed.
- The role operates in a temperature-controlled, clean food facility environment.

- Full-time position with competitive pay (Monday–Thursday, 10-hour shifts; some flexibility available).
