This is a FULL TIME position for a PARALEGAL WITH MIN. 2 YEAR EXPERIENCE IN IMMIGRATION LAW. It requires min. 5 days of physical presence in our office in Coral Gables, Florida.This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) starting as soon as possible.
The employee's job duties will revolve around assisting the attorney in all things necessary, but primarily the following:
- Assist attorney with the preparation of family-based petitions, including removal defense applications;
- Assist with the preparation of I-589 asylum applications;
- Assist with naturalization petitions and waivers (I-601 and I601A);
- Draft support letters, table of contents, memo of laws, fill out immigration forms;
- Communicate with clients;
- Organizing and archiving the documents related to completed and ongoing cases;
- Collecting and organizing documents for filing with USCIS and EOIR;
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
- A minimum experience of one years in an immigration paralegal role;
- Experience with USCIS/EOIR procedures;
- Must be bilingual (English-Spanish);
- Driven and motivated;
- Excellent writing and organizational skills;
- Must be able to multi-task and work independently;
- Reliable, detail-oriented.
