Every March thousands of guests gather at The Golf Club of Amelia Island for one of the most prestigious events in the automotive world: The Amelia Concours  The Golf Club of Amelia Island is currently seeking Special Event Staff to assist our Food and Beverage Concession & Banquet Teams for March 8 & 9, 2025.

Opportunities Available: Cashiers, Cooks, Bartenders, Wait-Staff & Set-up.

Must have availability 5am - 4pm on the weekend of March 8 & 9.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while exposed to hot and cold temperatures.
Prior Serving experience is a plus, but not required. 
Pay: From $9.98 per hour, tips and service charge.

Schedule:
Concessions/ Cooks/ Bartenders: March 8 & 9,
Waitstaff: March 7 - 10
Optional Setup & Breakdown: March 5 - 10

Description: Servers are responsible for creating a positive guest experience by assuring that all members and guests are served in a prompt, efficient, and pleasant manner. Assisting in all outlets of the Food and Beverage Operation as needed. Ideal candidates are hospitality professionals who possess a strong work ethic and a friendly, outgoing demeanor.

All Servers are responsible for the following job duties:

• Greet all guests warmly with an appropriate greeting.
• Prepares tables, laying out napkins and utensils, making sure condiments are filled, performing all other preparation tasks.
• Maintaining proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, up-selling, removing dishes, replenishing utensils, refilling beverages.
• Keep tables, dining rooms, and bus stations clean and organized.
• Set up, break down, and service special events.
• Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently.
• Understand and communicate products and services available.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs. or more alone or with a team member.

Supplemental Pay:

• Tips & Service Charge.

Education:

• High school Diploma or equivalent (Required).

Experience:

• Serving Experience: 1 year (Preferred).
