SUMMARY:Vohra Wound Physicians, the leading wound care provider to skilled nursing facilities with 20 years experience, operating in 27 states, continues to experience rapid growth. We are looking for an experienced Senior Contracting and Credentialing Specialist to streamline central billing office contracting and credentialing operations for 250 providers. You will join a dynamic team that operates one of the most advanced and automated Revenue Cycle Management processes in healthcare.

This role is responsible for credentialing and linking new providers to our existing group Provider Numbers. If the providers are not currently enrolled with Medicare or Medicaid in the state they will be joining us we will also be applying for their Individual Provider numbers in the state to be able to link them to our group numbers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Managing the following processes (Effective 05/03/2023):

• Responsible for full-cycle credentialing and re-credentialing process for providers.
• Ensuring information on NPPES is accurate and current.
• Process and file applications with government payers according to each payor’s individual requirements and address/correct discrepancies as requested by payors.
• Complete regular follow up with the payers to ensure applications are being processed and obtain confirmation once the credentialing process is completed.
• Works collaboratively with peers and senior management to ensure business needs are being met
• Maintains confidentiality of all information; adheres to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations
• Additional duties are to be assigned from time to time.

Required Skills:

• At least 3 years of progressive professional experience in the revenue cycle
• At least 2 years experience in provider contracting
• 2-4 years of experience with NextGen software preferred
• Intermediate experience with financial reporting and Microsoft Office products is required.
• Excellent communication, analytical skills, and attention to detail required
