Daycare Floater Teacher

• Room coverage at lunch and other times when necessary.
• Maintain classroom control, management, and sanitation.
• Provide a normal routine by maintaining daily schedule adherence.
• It is necessary to be familiar with all the teachers and all of the children.
• Must be aware of the needs of each classroom.
• A floater will be called upon to substitute in a class when that teacher is absent.

• Meet annual professional development requirements, per state regulations.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Obtain a Tuberculosis test.
• Reliable transportation to the Child Care center.
• Great customer service skills to communicate effectively with parents and fellow staff members.
• A floater needs to be flexible and willing to work anywhere.
