JOB DESCRIPTION:
Provides administrative/secretarial support to the manager and staff.
 
JOB SUMMARY:
  • Provide support to the company through both administrative and clerical duties.
  • Receive and answer phone calls in a professional manner.
  • Send and receive emails.
  • Greet clients in a professional manner.
  • Knowledge of modern office equipment.
  • Data entry.
  • Photocopying and scanning administrative documents.
  • Processing incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Filing.
  • Gathering useful and important information by phone, letter, email, or in person.
  • Maintain confidential and sensitive records and files.
  • Performs other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
  • Working knowledge of mail processes such as postage machines, FedEx, and UPS.
  • Computer literacy; Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and data entry.
  • Ability to enter data efficiently, timely, and correctly to meet deadlines.
  • Good planning and organizational skills.
  • Well-developed verbal, listening, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as a team player.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance and manner.
  • Ability to contend with a wide variety of people on various issues.
  • Ability to work in a busy office with constant interruptions.
  • 1-3 years of previous experience in an office environment.
  • Must pass a background check.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED:
Receives supervision from the Office Manager. The position has no formal assigned supervisory responsibility or authority. Must complete jobs without constant supervision.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
The principal duties of this position are performed in an indoor environment.

ALCOHOL AND DRUG TESTING POLICY:
This position is subject to pre-employment drug testing. DLP Home Care LLC has a Drug Free Workplace Policy that includes Post-Accident Testing, Random Testing, and/or Reasonable Suspicion Testing.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Effective interpersonal/communication skills
  • Ability to understand written and verbal communications
  • Used to working office equipment and computers for long periods
  • Able to identify opportunities for administrative improvement

  • Valid Drivers’ License Class C.
