We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Laboratory Technician to join our team.

Job Description:As a Laboratory Technician you will play a crucial role in patient care and laboratory operations. Your primary responsibilities will include performing laboratory tests, operating various laboratory equipment, and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of sample analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests on blood, urine, and other samples.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including analyzers, chemistry, and CBC machines.
  • Collect blood samples through venipuncture and capillary puncture when necessary.
  • Collect urine specimens following proper procedures and protocols.
  • Label and prepare specimens for analysis.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all specimens collected and tests performed.
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety during the collection and testing process.
  • Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines.
  • Manage and organize laboratory supplies and equipment.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and address any concerns or questions.
  • Assist with other laboratory duties as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
  • Previous experience as a laboratory technician preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory testing techniques and equipment operation.
  • Certification in phlebotomy from an accredited program is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and delivering high-quality care.
