Regional Vascular and Vein Institute is a well-established, successful private practice consisting of a group of 4 vascular surgeons serving individuals throughout Stark and surrounding counties. We are looking for a committed professional to join our team and support our physicians in ensuring each patient is treated as an individual and receives the highest level of service while in our care.

We currently have a position open in our billing department for an on-site experienced charge entry, payment poster, and biller with A/R and collections experience. Position will be part of our team and will manage charge entry, claims submission, EFT and patient payments, collections and follow-up on claim denials and accounts receivables. Candidates should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as they communicate with patients and insurance companies on a daily basis.

Duties include:
  • Processing and posting payments and charges.
  • Speaking directly with patients about outstanding balances, reviewing accounts, preparing and submitting billing data and medical claims to insurance companies.
  • Examining and investigating medical bills for accuracy, obtaining or correcting information, appealing denied claims and responding to insurance company's request for records.
  • Working accounts receivables and patient accounts.

Requirements:
  • The candidate would need to have experience in posting insurance payments, personal payments, collections, billing office visits and surgery charges.
  • Candidate must be experienced in calling insurance directly to resolve claims when required.
  • Able to do soft collections and work the A/R.
  • Must be able to interpret an EOB.
