Job Description:We are seeking a Licensed Dietitian to join our dynamic team in Maryland. As a Licensed Dietitian, you will play a crucial role in providing nutritional counseling and support to our clients/patients. Your expertise will contribute to the development of personalized dietary plans, promoting health and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct nutritional assessments and develop individualized dietary plans based on clients' health goals, medical conditions, and dietary needs.
- Provide ongoing nutrition counseling and education to clients/patients.
- Monitor and evaluate clients' progress towards their nutritional goals.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to ensure integrated and comprehensive patient care.
- Stay current with developments in nutritional science and research.
- Participate in community outreach programs and educational seminars to promote nutrition awareness in the Skilled Nursing Facility.
Requirements:
- Licensed Dietitian in the state of Maryland (current and in good standing).
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in clinical or community nutrition settings.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Certification in areas such as diabetes education or sports nutrition is a plus.
