Autodesk REVIT & AutoCAD Specialist

Our Concrete Construction Company is currently seeking individuals with working knowledge of computer drawing software.  The person needs to be goal-oriented, a leader, and self-motivated. A college degree is not necessary but a working knowledge of concrete construction, and excellent skills in Autocad, and Revit are fundamental.
Requirements:
  • The applicant must know how to read and analyze documentation and blueprints to prepare 3D renditions of foundations using Revit. Previous experience performing these or similar tasks is very helpful.
  • The candidate will employ Autocad/Revit for the drawing of walls, footings, and retaining walls for residential work, multi-family projects, and others. Those 3D illustrations will be sent to the job sites for the field foremen to use on their tablets.
  • This position will eventually lead to the Engineering/Field Communications Manager and will contribute to training others within the engineering group, to make the transition from printed paper to digital 3D information.
  • The candidate will also perform some administrative tasks.

The ideal candidate:
  • Will have an excellent working knowledge of Revit and Autocad.
  • Should have knowledge of concrete forming techniques, and reinforcing steel, and understand the benefits of 3D digital communications.
