MCM Staffing is currently seeking an experienced CMM Programmer for our client in Sterling Heights, MI

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6am-4pm + occasional Saturdays
Pay: $22+ based on experience

Job Description:

Experienced CMM Programmer in Sterling Heights opening for automotive, military and aerospace prototyping company.  Company has expanded and is hiring for growth.  

To be successful in the role of CMM Programmer:
  • Ability to write programs and setup CMM  to provide part measurements as defined in the design drawing/blueprint
  • Responsible for completing inspections of sample parts, and performing first piece, in-process and final inspections of runs
  • Perform maintenance of inspection equipment, including calibration
  • Create, define and maintain CMM programs
  • Ability to collect, organize and store inspection data
  • Communicate inspection data to internal employees and customers
  • Ability to use precise measuring tools to ensure products meet standards and orders
  • Have high attention to detail
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned by leadership.

Position Requirements:
  • 2 years CMM Programming experience
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or applicable field
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Familiarity with GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing) symbols
  • A minimum of 2 years of Automotive or Aerospace shop floor experience (press stamping operations preferred)
  • Ability to set-up, calibrate, and operate scanning equipment
  • Applicant must be detail oriented, well organized and able to perform all duties required of role.
  • Pay negotiable based on experience
