-One of our clients, a large gastroenterology practice company, is looking for a Gastroenterology Physician to join their team.

Job Description:The Gastroenterology Physician will join a leading healthcare team in a physician practice and surgery center dedicated to excellence in patient care and innovative practices in gastroenterology. In this pivotal role, you will diagnose and treat patients with gastrointestinal disorders, focusing on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for healthcare and the expertise to manage a wide range of conditions affecting the gastrointestinal tract, ensuring the implementation of the latest evidence-based practices. This position offers the unique opportunity to work alongside a team of highly skilled professionals in a dynamic and supportive environment, contributing to advancements in gastroenterology.
Responsibilities & duties:
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of gastrointestinal diseases and conditions, including but not limited to, acid reflux, ulcers, IBS, IBD, and liver diseases.
  • Perform endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopies and gastroscopies, to diagnose and manage conditions.
  • Provide consultations to patients referred by primary care physicians and other specialists.
  • Develop and implement patient management plans, including prescribing medications and suggesting lifestyle adjustments.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Participate in research and clinical trials to advance the field of gastroenterology.
  • Educate patients and their families on conditions and treatment plans.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in gastroenterology to ensure the best patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications:
  • Medical degree (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) with a residency in Internal Medicine, followed by fellowship in Gastroenterology.
  • Board certified or eligible in Gastroenterology.
  • Valid and active medical license in Michigan.
  • Proven experience in gastroenterology, including proficiency in endoscopic procedures.
  • Strong understanding of the latest gastroenterology research, treatments, and techniques.
