Staffing Connection Inc. is currently seeking a Travel MRI Technician for an assignment with a hospital in Atlanta, GA. This is a 3-month assignment that has the potential to be extended.

Schedule 730am - 4 pm
Pay: $2220-$2340 Weekly

Min of 2 years of experience within specialty.
Required BLS
AART Cert - MRI

The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners to capture detailed images of patients' internal structures, aiding in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Follow prescribed protocols and safety standards, including screening patients for contraindications.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures.
  • Perform routine maintenance and quality control checks on MRI equipment.
  • Provide compassionate patient care and explain procedures clearly to alleviate any concerns.
  • Stay updated on advancements in MRI technology and techniques.

Qualifications:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in MRI.
  • Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to patient safety and comfort.

Experience:
  • Previous experience as an MRI Technician is preferred, but not required for entry-level candidates with relevant education and certification.
