PRISM is seeking a talented Java Developer to contribute to developing and delivering cutting-edge software solutions across multiple technology areas.

Your Role:
  • Design and Develop: Apply your expertise to create robust and efficient software applications, leveraging various programming languages and frameworks.
  • Configure and Optimize: Tailor software products and systems to meet specific requirements, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.
  • Prototype and Innovate: Develop proof-of-concept prototypes to explore new ideas and drive innovative solutions.
  • Deliver Quality: Maintain high-quality standards throughout the development process, ensuring timely and reliable delivery of software solutions.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Java: Proven experience developing in Java, demonstrating a solid understanding of its core concepts and best practices.
  • Framework Expertise: Familiarity with JEE or other popular Java frameworks like Spring, enabling you to build scalable and maintainable applications.
  • Development Tools: Proficiency in using industry-standard Java development tools like Eclipse, JUnit, and Git.
  • Database Skills: Experience working with relational or other database platforms and a solid understanding of SQL or other query languages.
  • Microservices: A track record of developing Java Microservices, demonstrating your ability to design and implement distributed systems.
Nice to Have:
  • Consulting Mindset: Previous experience in consulting, coupled with a strong understanding of customer and business needs.
  • Application Server Knowledge: Familiarity with Java Application Servers like Red Hat JBoss.
  • Data Modeling and ORM: Experience with data modeling techniques and ORM tools like Hibernate.
  • Service Integration: Proficiency in consuming data through service integration using REST and/or SOAP APIs.
  • Architectural Design: A solid understanding of common design patterns and their application in software architecture.
  • Cloud Experience: Experience leveraging Amazon Web Services (AWS) components to build cloud-native solutions.
  • DevSecOps: Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and tools like Jenkins and Ansible for CI/CD pipelines.
  • Performance Optimization: Experience conducting performance testing and tuning to ensure optimal application performance.
