Job Title: Masonry Construction Worker

Job Summary:
We are looking for skilled and experienced Masonry Construction Workers to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for building and repairing structures using bricks, stones, and other types of masonry materials. They will work on both residential and commercial construction projects and will use a variety of tools and equipment to create high-quality and durable structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints and plans to determine the specifications for the project.
  • Lay out patterns or foundations using straightedges, rulers, and levels.
  • Mix mortar, grout, and other adhesives and fillers.
  • Cut and shape bricks and stones to fit into patterns or fill in spaces.
  • Install and position bricks and stones using a variety of tools, such as trowels, chisels, and hammers.
  • Finish surfaces by cleaning, polishing, or smoothing them using hand or power tools.
  • Repair or replace damaged or cracked masonry work.
  • Maintain tools and equipment, and keep work areas clean and organized.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in masonry construction.
  • Knowledge of different types of masonry materials, tools, and techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans.
  • Attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry heavy materials, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
