We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced part-time Optometrist to join our team at market Square optical. As an optometrist you will play a key role in providing exceptional eye care services to our patients.  If you are passionate about optometry and patient-focused care, we invite you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision and eye health. Diagnose and treat visual conditions, such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism.
  • Prescribe and fit eyeglasses and contact lenses based on patient needs and preferences.
  • Identify and manage common eye, disease and conditions, referring patient to specialist as needed. Educate patients about proper eye care, contact, lens use, and overall eye health.
  • Maintain accurate, patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with our team, to provide a seamless and positive patient experience.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Dr. of optometry from an accredited optometry program.
  • Valid state, optometry license, and DEA registration.
  • Proven experience in conducting comprehensive eye examinations, and providing clinical optometric care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patient focused approach.
  • Proficiency in conducting refractions and prescribing corrective lenses.
  • Dedication to upholding the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a collaborative team environment.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
