Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Fleet assistant to join our local Team. The ideal candidate must have an active CDL Class A, experience in OTR Pre-Trip and Post-Trip DOT Inspection, and be very familiar with all aspects of keeping a sleeper cab running properly.
Duties:
  • Assist in inspecting trucks (sleeper cabs) to DOT standards.
  • Support with truck scheduling for repair and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with the team on other tasks.

Experience:
  • Previous experience in equipment DOT inspection.
  • Previous or current OTR experience.
  • Familiarity with heavy equipment operation.
  • Knowledge of sleeper cabs such as Volvo, Freightliner, Kenworth, International, and Peterbilt.

Requirements:
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and take direction.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
  • Bilingual. English / Spanish, preferred.
