Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
  • Ensures accurate and timely shipments of finished goods.
  • Efficiently receives processes, and stocks incoming goods.
  • Examine contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify the accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipments.
  • Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route materials.
  • Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, and damages and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and recordkeeping purposes.
  • Store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock.
  • Pack, seal, label, and affix shipping labels to prepare materials for shipping, using work devices such as hand tools, and power tools.
  • Works with Production, Purchasing, Quality Assurance, and Accounting to ensure applicable information/data transfer as related to the product flow.
  • Comply with the Health and Safety Policy and procedures and with safe systems of work.
  • Take reasonable care of themselves and anyone else who may be affected by the way in which they carry out their duties.
  • Co-operate with senior staff and the SHEQ Manager on health and safety matters.
  • Report any faults, defects unsafe situations, working practices, or procedures.
  • Report accidents or near misses, however trivial.
  • Use, and do not misuse, any protective clothing, equipment, or materials provided.
  • Use equipment only with the appropriate safety devices in position.
  • Ensure products are packaged and shipped on schedule and to specifications.
  • Ensure purchased materials are received accurately and in a timely manner.

MUST HAVE Job Requirements:
  • Must have experience working in all aspects of Shipping and Receiving, including order releases, packing list generation, preparing international shipping documents, etc.
  • Must be detail-oriented, computer literate, and able to multi-task.
  • Must have experience with UPS & FedEx online shipping systems.
  • Occasional overtime work required.
  • Must be able to lift 60 lbs.
  • Must be able to read and write in English.
  • Enthusiastic and high-energy personality preferred.
