Responsibilities:
  • Perform dental hygiene procedures, including dental cleanings, scaling, and rootplaning
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and provide recommendations for at-home care
  • Take dental x-rays and Itero scan
  • Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide to patients
  • Document patient treatment plans, progress notes, and medical history in electronic health records systems such as Eaglesoft
  • Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs and updating medical records

Qualifications:
  • Valid dental hygienist license in Florida
  • Proficiency in using dental office systems, we use Eaglesoft, but can train
  • Knowledge of dental assisting procedures and techniques
  • Familiarity with dental/medical documentation and patient assessment processes
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Hours from 7:00am-8:00pm and Saturdays from 8:00am-4:00pm (If you are unable to work the evening 12:00pm-8:00pm shift, please understand this is a requirement to do at least 2 of these shifts, and to not apply if this does not align with your schedule)
