Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault Therapist

Duties:
- Establish effective therapeutic relationships and provide trauma-informed mental health services to DV/SA survivors.
- Coordinate and work collaboratively with partner organizations and community service providers.
- Write treatment plans that foster resilience incorporating family and community resources.
- Organize and maintain confidential information.
- Participate in peer consultations with other grant-funded DV/SA therapists.
- Participate in weekly admin meetings.
- Facilitate trauma-informed training (when requested).
- Lead support groups and workshops for domestic and sexual violence survivors.
- Outreach to other organizations to build caseload.
Required:
- Master's degree in social work or counseling or a Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology.
- Possess a valid license (LGSW, LGPC, Psychology Associate, LICSW, LPC, or Clinical Psychologist) to practice in Washington, DC.
- Experience providing trauma-informed psychotherapy to survivors.
Preferred:
- Experience writing grant reports
- Bilingual.
