Job Summary:
- At Gray Matters, we use holistic, evidence-based, body-centered approaches (i.e.: Internal Family Systems, IFS; Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing EMDR; Flash Technique; Ego-State Therapy, Mindfulness, etc.) along with traditional cognitive-behavioral approaches such as Cognitive Restructuring CR; CBT and DBT.
- We work primarily with adults engaging in individual counseling. Additional opportunities to work with couples, families, and First Responders seeking support.
- The folks we work with are primarily seeking support in areas such as stress, anxiety, depression, post-trauma, childhood and/or family dysfunction, relationships, parenting, communication, eating disordered behaviors, substance misuse/abuse, ageing, and life transitions.
- Gray Matters staff handles the majority of the administrative tasks allowing therapists to focus on their clinical work.
- Clinical Supervision for licensure hours is available on-site for individuals working toward licensure as LCMHC, LMFT, or LICSW.
- We offer in-person and online options for clients and utilize an Electronic Medical Record system (EMR).
- W-2 position; normal business hours Monday-Friday (9a-530p).
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling program (licensure eligible in New Hampshire)
- Specialized training in targeted therapeutic modalities
- Reliability, dedication, and strong work ethic
Compensation/Benefits:
- Guaranteed base salary plus commission. Rates are commensurate with the clinician's credentials, experience, and specialized training. Earning potential up to $100,000.00 annually
- Clinicians are compensated for late cancellations/no-shows
- Weekly supervision for individuals seeking licensure as LCMHC, LICSW, or LMFT provided at no charge
- Individualized Psychology Today Find Therapist ad and liability insurance premium reimbursed to clinicians
- 6 paid vacations days
- One-week paid time off after one year
- Our offices are quiet and thoughtfully decorated with client and clinician comfort in mind

Therapists hold sessions from our Laconia NH office. This position is not eligible for remote work.
