Certified Pharmacy Technician

Education Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience Desired:
- At least 6 months preferred, but not necessary.
- Experience in a retail position working directly with the public preferred, but not necessary.
License Requirements:
- Licensed by Commonwealth of Virginia
- National Certification
- Strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to be a team player.
- Willingness to learn new skills and make changes as needed.
- Maintain patient confidentiality.
- High level of patience and compassion while taking care of patient and customer needs.
- Reasoning ability and good independent judgment.
- Ability to learn and use pharmacy software. Working knowledge of electronic third party claims submission.
