Packinghouse Christian Academy is accepting resumes for a full-time middle school math teacher. Responsibilities:
- Creating a rich, engaging, and positive math-classroom environment in which students will gain confidence and understanding in math at their grade-level.
- Grading exams, tests, quizzes, assignments, and presentations, and contacting parents and other faculty members to discuss concerns and schedule interventions.
- Ensuring school and state standards are met.
- Providing differentiation and extra support to struggling students and additional resources to those who display exceptional interest/ability in math.
- Requirements are a bachelor's degree (master's and/or CA credential are desired), preferably in mathematics with an education emphasis, and the desire to work with students, bringing math to life in a Christian environment.
