Inspire Mental Health Services was founded by a psychiatrist with a strong background in both psychotherapy and psychopharmacology and a desire to provide the highest quality, evidenced-based, and compassionate medication management for patients. We work with children and adults.

We are a group practice based on the belief that biology plays a large role in mental wellness and aim to help patients achieve optimal mental health with the help of expert-level psychopharmacology. Inspire is also founded on the principle that great mental health care should be accessible to those who wish to stay in their insurance network, so we take all major insurances.

As an Inspire Nurse Practitioner, for this role we are seeking a full time, in office provider who would be paid on a fee for service basis. Experience with child and adolescents a huge plus.

Job Summary:
  • Evaluate and treat psychiatric conditions including but not limited to anxiety, depression, and other mood disorders.
  • Analyze and interpret patients' histories, symptoms, mental status exams, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses and treatment plans.
  • Screen clients for risk and refer when a higher level of care is needed.
  • Identify drug-seeking behavior and screen out these clients.
  • Recommend diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.
  • Prescribe medications.
  • Educate patients about self-management of acute or chronic illnesses.
  • Order, perform, and interpret the results of diagnostic tests when indicated, including rating scales.
  • Maintain records of patients' initial evaluation, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Detect and respond to adverse drug reactions.
  • Monitor patients’ responses to medication and evaluate care.
