Requirements: 
  • Active license from California Department of Public Health (CDPH) Radiologic Health Branch (RHB)
  • At least 12 consecutive months of performing similar services within the last 3 years
  • CRT license and State Fluoroscopy Permit
  • BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (with AED)
  • Must be proficient in the English Language (Speaking/Writing)
 Responsibilities:
  • The Certified Radiologic Technologists (CRT) shall perform duties and responsibilities as directed by the facilities' CEO/CME or their designated authority. These duties/responsibilities encompass a range of requirements, which include but are not limited to: Develop and process X-Ray exposures
  • Consult with Radiologist or ordering medical provider when needed.
  • Provide emergency medical support during radiological contrast reactions.
  • Use proper identification markers and technique for exams ordered.
  • Assist medical provider with special procedures (e.g., fluoro, biopsies).
  • Perform diagnostic radiographic works using RIS/PACS.
  • Ensure patient safety during X-Ray procedures.
  • Label digital images before Radiologist review.
  • Review X-Ray images for positioning and clarity.
  • Respond to emergency and bedside radiographic exams.
  • Ensure adequate supplies for radiographic procedures.
  • Comply with radiation protection standards.
