Courtesy Patrol is essential to the work of the Cascades, as they provide operational support to the residents and our staff members.

Shifts: Primarily third shift; willing to be flexible for coverage. Part-time

Pay: Hourly, Non-exempt. $16/hr depending on experience. 

Responsibilities include:
  • Answering phones/emergency call system at the front desk throughout the shift.
  • Patrol interior and exterior of the community including hallways, offices, pool, and parking lots.
  • Coordinate with caregivers on shift to ensure coverage while on property checks.
  • Maintain a written log documenting property checks, findings, and issues needing to be attended to.
  • Responding to emergencies as needed. 
  • Completing administrative tasks such as communication via email, managing staff radios. posting announcements, etc.
  • Assist guests and residents as needed.
  • Escort any unwelcome persons from the property without interrupting the orderly flow of the property.

Requirements:
  • Knowledge of basic safety, emergency, and fire procedures.
  • Negative TB Skin test.
  • Negative drug screen.
  • Sufficient background checks as required by the Cascades.
  • Be able to pass a fingerprint check.
  • Able to walk, sit and stand for extended periods of time.
