Position DescriptionColumbia Athletic Clubs Job Title: Cleaner                                     
Reports to: Fitness DirectorStatus: Non-Exempt                             
Department: Fitness Schedule: Part-time Position Summary: The fitness cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the facility, which includes the equipment, courts, gym, and exercise studios. Essential Duties:

• Report any observed or known safety hazards, conditions or unsafe practices to management immediately.
• Sweeping, mopping and glass cleaning in the studios and gymnasium. 
• Use a dry Swiffer to clean around the dumbbells, but do not individually lift them.
• Wipe down the stretching mats and the mats that surround the gym and cardio walls.
• Perform other tasks as required.

 Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to interact with people courteously and act in a professional manner at all times while at work.
• Ability to handle several tasks at the same time in an efficient manner, well organized. 
• Must be able to safely use chemicals for cleaning purposes.

 Qualifications:

• Knowledge of facility emergency procedures.
• High school diploma or high school student.
• CPR certified.
• Available to work varied schedules including nights and weekends.
