DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR
Job Description:Bode is a well-established vertically integrated multi-family developer with in-house design and construction as well as property management that has been based in the Seattle area since 1990. We focus on multi-family housing for emerging middle-class tenants; looked at another way, our offering enables blue-collar and similarly employed people to live in attractive, urban environments with proximity to transportation and amenities. We are rapidly growing, changing, and improving every aspect of our business. We have an immediate need for a Development Coordinator with experience in the real estate construction and property management industries.This role is an essential company position primarily providing administrative support to the development team, reporting directly to the Managing Director.  
As a Multi-Family Development Coordinator, your role will involve providing support to the development team in all aspects of multi-family residential projects. This includes assisting with project coordination, conducting market research, preparing financial analysis, and assisting in the preparation of project proposals and presentations.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Project Coordination: Assisting in coordinating various aspects of the development process, such as site selection, due diligence, entitlements, and permitting. This may involve coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Market Research: Conducting local real estate market research to identify potential development opportunities, analyze market trends, and assess competition. This will involve gathering and analyzing data regarding demographics, market demand, rental rates, and other relevant factors.
  • Financial Analysis: Assisting in the preparation of financial analysis for potential development projects. This includes evaluating project feasibility, estimating costs, projecting revenues, and preparing financial models to assess the viability and profitability of the projects.
  • Proposal Preparation: Assisting in the preparation of project proposals and presentations for potential investors, lenders, and partners. This may involve creating project descriptions, financial summaries, market analyses, and other supporting materials.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining project documentation, including contracts, permits, and other legal documents. You will also be responsible for preparing regular reports on project progress, financial performance, and market updates.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders, including development team members, consultants, contractors, and government agencies. You will be expected to communicate effectively and professionally in both written and verbal forms.
  • Administrative Support: Providing general administrative support to the development team, such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars, organizing travel arrangements, and handling correspondence.

To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of real estate development principles, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong organizational and time management skills are also essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
Overall, as a Multi-Family Development Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the successful execution of multi-family residential projects from inception to completion.
