This non-engineering track position is responsible to assist in preparing construction documents for ATMI projects under the direction of senior staff. This includes CAD and BIM modeling of plans, components and connections, as well reports needed for production and erection. Duties include coordination of architectural, civil, structural and MEP plans, elevations, and details.

Qualifications:
  • Junior College Associates Degree, Technical College Degree plus 4 years of equivalent work- and industryrelated experience; or
  • Bachelor’s in Architectural, Civil, Industrial, or Structural Engineering, or Bachelors in Architecture equivalent work- or industry-related experience.

Requirements:
  • Basic communication skills, including verbal and written.

Able to:
  • Work from verbal and written technical direction from senior staff at a basic level.
  • Work effectively within a team environment with a group of diverse professionals.
  • Organize and manage own time effectively.
  • Organize, plan, and perform tasks effectively.
  • Read and interpret technical and construction documents.
  • Continuously strives to advance skills with effort inside and outside office.
  • Back check own work and strives for quality.

Basic understanding of:
  • Commercially-available office software (Word, Excel, Adobe/Bluebeam, etc.)
  • CAD and BIM software including AutoCAD, Revit and Tekla or equivalent.
  • Desire to learn open source programming; Application Programming Interface using C# (C-Sharp).
  • Interest in learning and developing Apps for in-house use.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare ALL work in accordance with approved office processes, formats and standards.
  • Work on assigned tasks, under direction of engineering staff, performing, as appropriate, engineering analyses and calculations.
  • Work on assigned tasks, under direction of engineering staff, preparing required documents in CAD or BIM.
  • Work on prospects for sales developing presentations using Revit, Tekla or other 3D modeling platforms.
  • Perform tasks accurately and on time with necessary guidance, and proactively seek advice on tasks as needed.
  • Manage other staff members, as required, when assigned as a Task Leader.
  • Meet task deadlines and adhere to budgeted hours.
  • Participate in external/in-house seminars and training activities/sessions.
  • Participate in the development of in-house processes, checklists and standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
