Tiny Steps Learning Center is expanding and seeking a passionate  Assistant Director  to join our team. We provide a welcoming, safe, and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and support Lead Teachers and Teacher Assistants.
  • Ensure compliance with Tiny Steps' curriculum and educational standards.
  • Serve as a positive role model and mentor for teaching staff.
  • Foster a positive and professional environment.
  • Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors, answering phones, and handling inquiries.
  • Ensure a welcoming and organized reception area.
  • Assist in classrooms as needed for coverage.
  • Uphold Tiny Steps' values and comply with childcare laws.
  • Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling, enrollment, and record-keeping.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in early childhood education.
  • Associate Degree in Education or current CDA certification (Bachelor’s Degree preferred).
  • Strong understanding of child development and educational methods.
  • Excellent time management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment..
  • Bilingual English & Spanish preferred.
  • Able to lift up to 45 pounds multiple times per day.
  • Willingness to submit to background checks.
  • CPR, First Aid, and Blood Borne Pathogen certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
  • Passionate about creating a positive and enriching learning environment.
