Wedding Bartender

Love wedding events, people watching or just like being social? Join our bartending team Our high end venue needs bartenders for our remaining a few fall dates.

Job Details:

• We prefer bartenders with cocktail experience, but some of our weddings are just wine and beer.
• Looking for help in July, August and September
• Must have your MAST certification.
• All dates are Saturday night.
• Shift is 3:30 pm to 10:30pm

General Expectations:

• Event bartenders at Harmony Meadows are expected to provide polished and professional service with a general knowledge of the wine, beer and spirits being served.
• Bartenders will receive an event-specific timeline that will designate an arrival time for them for each event. As a rule of thumb, bartenders should arrive 1 hour before the bars open for service, or before the bartender is assigned to perform an extraneous alcohol service task (prosecco greeting, etc.).
• Correct pronunciation and general knowledge of the characteristics of the wine and beer offerings are necessary items to understand before service begins. Event manager on staff will have information regarding the wine and beer to brief bartenders on before service.
• Bartenders are hired and designated to their specific roles with their experience and expertise in mind- those with restaurant-level bartending knowledge will be prioritized at specialty cocktail and open/cash bars.
• Event bartenders may have to assist Event Staff with the washing and sanitizing of wine and rocks glasses.
• In addition to general knowledge of the product, attention to detail, and polished customer interaction, we expect bartenders’ assistance in breaking down the bar. This might occur after a bar is shut down during the event or may occur at the conclusion of the event.
• o Bar breakdown consists of returning remaining alcohol to the back-room fridge, sealing and returning mixers and garnishes to the kitchen fridge, emptying ice from coolers and returning coolers to the back room, returning clean glasses to the back room, and returning dirty glasses to a dishwasher.

Dress:

• Black Harmony Meadows Polo- provided by the company
• Black pants, shorts, or skirt
• Comfortable walking shoes
• Sunglasses optional if stationed at an outdoor bar
