Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional Maintenance Associate to join our TEAM  As the Maintenance Associate, we need someone who is ready to provide a variety of support such as performing routine maintenance and loading and unloading pallets.  Primary Objective
Performs routine maintenance tasks of a general nature such as cleaning, operating sweeper, and emptying trash receptacles

Pay:
  • Entry: $19.15
  • 3-Month Increase: $20.34

Shifts Available:2nd Shift:
  • Monday-Friday
  • 2:30 PM-11:00PM
  • 0.50 Cent Shift Diff 

Major Function and Scope
  • Operate Sit Down and/or Sweeper to maintain warehouse cleanliness
  • Empty trash receptacles and ensure all areas are clean and orderly
  • Load and unload pallets
  • Collect empty and/or broken pallets throughout the facility.
  • Keeps supervisor informed of any problem areas.
  • Follows standard operating and safety procedures.
  • Keeps work areas safe, clean, and organized.
  • Performs other related duties as required

Experience and Knowledge Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year warehouse experience preferred. 

Competencies
Ability to understand and speak basic English. Ability to follow instructions.  Ability to work in a safe and conscientious manner.
Other Pertinent Job Information
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms.  The associate is required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.  The associate may be required to sometimes sit, climb or balance.  The associate may lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this position includes close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.  While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The associate is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.  The associate may be exposed to a wide range of temperatures.  The noise level is usually loud.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
